It is important to get your alarm serviced on an annual basis to ensure that your security system is working properly, keeping you and your property safe and secure.

What can go wrong if you don't get your alarm serviced?

  • Detection devices can stop operating properly and may fail to pick up an intruder if not annually inspected.
  • The main control panel and external siren back up batteries require annual testing every year, and replacing every three years. Failure to do so can lead to expensive damage to the main control panel and external siren.
  • External sirens are exposed to the elements all of the year, they require annual testing to make sure they will operate properly in the event of a break in.

Gold Cover

  • The system will be tested each year in accordance with BS4737*
  • Any faulty parts will be replaced free of charge.
  • All call-outs to system faults will be free of charge for all parts and labour, except in the event of fire, storm, flood, civil disturbance, accident, misuse or neglect of the alarm system, burglary or attempted burglary.
  • All work carried out which is not covered by this scheme will be charged at the rates listed below.
  • Any fault to your alarm will be attended to within 24 hours. (4 hours for police connected systems).
  • Our 24-hour call-out service will be available 365 days per year in case of emergency.
  • Includes 24 hour telephone support.

Silver Cover

  • The system will be inspected and tested each year in accordance with BS4737*.
  • Any faults found on the system will be rectified at this time but any parts required will be chargeable.
  • No charge will be made for the labour involved or for adjustments or corrections required to the system at this time.
  • All call-outs at any other time of year will be chargeable for time and materials basis.
  • Any fault to your alarm will be attended to within 24 hours. (4 hours for police connected systems.)
  • Our 24-hour call-out service will be available 365 days per year in case of emergency.
  • Includes 24 hour telephone support.
